Bittersweet Narrative Game

Last Stop Before the End is a student led project developed in Unreal Engine 5.6 under the creative direction of our clients Hyperluminal Studios. The game takes place at the end of the universe where the universe is in its last gasps of existence. You play as a robotic cafe owner of the last cafe in the universe and it is your job to tend to your customers who are the last of their species. Some may ask for a nice drink or a nostalgic meal to ease their minds and troubles while you converse and learn more about each of your customers. Hopefully you can send them away satisfied with their last meals.

In the narrative, writing, and producing roles, my responsibility in the development of this game was to lead my team, write dialogue, and design narrative through creating documentation that I present in a presentation style to our clients weekly as well as creating narrative for the game with creating characters and working with our artist and animators to create and give life to the characters that I would also write dialogue for 1 of the 3 narrative characters available in the game.

A 4ft robot with the ability to raise and lower itself. It has the tag 'C.4:F.3' printed on its side. It is designed for kitchen work with heated and cooled compartments as well as a build in boiler and dispenser, a dirt dematerialiser, and a happy-go-lucky personality chip – artists' discretion
