Carnoustie

Barry Mill

This was from the second semester of the MPROF degree program where we focused on Applied Games. For this project my team had the opportunity to work with the Carnoustie Community Development Team and the Carnoustie Golf Course. I was in charge of the level design of this project, and I focused on making realistic environments that was as close to the real locations as possible. I used both pictures from the Carnoustie Golf Course website and pictures I personally took while visiting Carnoustie Golf Course and Barry Mill in Scotland.

Text From a Friend (WiP)

This is from the personal project I am currently working on in 2026. This is my first time making my own stylized environments using alphas, substance designer, and the Unreal Engine 5.6 Foliage system. This decision to use stylized environments was because I was inspired by Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and I wanted to make a heavy narrative game using that art style or at least a similar style to it.

Escape

This was my first level design project I made after attending University of Silicon Valley with my degree in Game Development Engineering and Design. This project was meant to be a full game, but I never finished the gameplay aspect of it and instead turned it into a level design project. I mostly used models made by my friend Natalie. This allowed me to make a cyberpunk like city in which you would play a girl and try to avoid and navigate this futuristic city!
